So @bentaz, I read elsewhere that you’re considered Australia’s VIC based slug master. Where can I find interesting 12 gauge slugs and/or other interesting rounds in VIC?
I abandoned Vic a few years back because of the 2 worst parasites in the world, Dan Andrews and my ex wife. I’m in NSW now.
I recommend buying some molds and making your own slugs mate. The Lyman 525gn sluggun pellets are great. Ley keydrive in 1 oz or 7/8th are good, I like the 7/8th’s coz the go faster. The Lee .69 ball mold is good too. Especially when you stack em 1 on top of another for 900 and something grains of fuck you fore end splitting goodness.
Cut shells are also fun.
Mind you I only used them for plinking at gongs or vans, I wasn’t hunting with them.
I do have a Savage 212 rifled 12ga, but I’m thinking selling it to buy more pistols. Its not nice to shoot.

I shot a few pistol matches, roughly sighted in a 3 -9 scope on a .22 rifle so I’m not shooting benchrest with a fixed 4x.
My full Cat-H is marked as issued on the GunSafe portal even though my P’s aren’t over for a couple more weeks, so ive attempted to put in aCat H PTA several times, because why not. No success though I’ll keep yrying.

@bentaz would be proud of me, this week I restored, well more like revitalized a piece of shit single barrel shotgun that’s probably worth about 50c for a mate.
He says he’s never got the time to do it but the piece of junk apparently has sentimental value so I thought I’d do a good deed and brought it home & sorted it out for him.

I don’t think you should stop saying horrible things about me, they’re probably all accurate. I didn’t actually take any photos and I dropped it back to him yesterday. It was a dodgy little Brazilian made Boito 410 break action single barrel with the break release working by pulling the trigger guard back. Identical to this (but these are internet photos).
After mainly playing with pistols when i pulled it apart I was like “where the fuck are all it’s guts?” It basically has 3 moving parts
