A lot of big bore shooting over the last 2 weeks. It’s awesome. I forgot how much i love throwing bricks.
I finally got inspired and loaded a bunch of 44s and 45s over the last 2 weeks. On and off. I have dedicated tool heads so that’s sweet. And of course thats what I’ve been shooting for the last 2 weeks.
44, then 45. 45 is standard affair. I dont down-load, just a standard 830fps with 230gr projie. So bit more punchy than 9, but well within rapid fire territory.
Now, the 44… 4 inches of JizzFlinger black thunder. I added hogue rubber grips and a red dot. Goooooooollllly. Been shooting that as my primary fun generator for 2 weeks now. Just can’t get enough of it, full loads too. Rubber grips absolutely changed the gun. Shot about 60 rounds tonight before it started raining, but I think I’ll supplement this on the weekend with, ummm, more 44!
P.s. if anyone knows where i can get one fired 44, cheap, I’m all ears. I miss once-fired

My bet is everyone will give you a big hug and congratulations then very quickly elect you treasurer again next year. No one else wants that job and would overlook anything that is not an extortionate rip off.

I went back to shooting my 44… I am almost out of ammo. I will keep shooting until I am empty! I also finally got of my arse and started going through rifles I am willing to sell. Some progress. I am still sticking to one-in-one-out, so I really need to move some on, because I really want somethin-somethin

Been a hot minute since I’ve had a chance to go for a shoot, old job doing a return to office meant a bit of a stint away until I found a new one.
Got to use a pretty sweet .22 and sling some lead down range, also got the thumbs up to get my Cat H paperwork written up and sent in to VicPol, so nice to move off the provisional license.
Now it’s time to go down an absolute research rabbit hole and figure out what handgun to get first and if it’s worth getting a reloading setup going on.

Very very noice. And that pistole is pretty shaaweet. Cant say i rate the toilet plunger for a cooking handle, but damn i want a Volq. 22 so bad.
We had the pistol club AGM this morning.
Im club scorer and discipline capt for ISSF and Air pistol now.
Tried out some ICOR after the meeting, I definitely need a revolver!
