What I did in guns this week.

Nah. I’ve tried doing that before. Young blokes are virtually always a pain in the arse. I don’t mind the carry out,its part and parcel of the hunt, and I’d honestly have shot a buck if that’s what presented itself at the time. Meats meat

I love that my gun shop is open on Sunday. Picked up my Steyr Mannlicher M95 in 8x56R and a bottle of powder. They even sell dog piss, how cool?

If I were that deer, I would be pretty chuffed in deer heaven telling all the other deer about the awesome rifle I was shot with. That picture is just full of quality things: land, animal, machine. Its a very good picture.

Took Dad for a bit of a shoot at Little River on Friday - luckily we managed to be there in one of the few moments of sun shine.

Brought a couple of milsurps for Dad to try - his favourite was the Jungle Carbine, because of how light it was and the nice peep sight.

He did smash up the frame though lol.

I also brought the Bergara along to sight in. The action is really smooth, and the trigger was crisp as hell. Unfortunately, the wind was incredibly strong, so wasn’t able to really check my zero at 100m.

Got to give your dad some credit, it’s not easy to hit the round bar on the frame

I can do that after bouncing them off the dirt, totally meant it.

I can do the same by bouncing my bullet from @Supaduke’s bounced bullet, while his bullet is in flight between the dirt and the frame. Trick is timing. I can do that. True story.

Very nice

Entire day of shooting with his excellency, the duke of supa. Then home, and a driveway party, spirits came out when kids went to bed. Getting home was a lot easier than anticipated lol. Then 6am start for a fishing trip with my oldest and my friends. Then back home to cook the catch and a beer. Then a nap. Then… Well… Yeah here I am. Ooof.

No shooting for me for a couple of weeks now, but I’m doing a bit of recon, meeting some people and laying the groundwork for what looks to be some good hunting times ahead.
Also found out my neighbours love guns so that’s cool too

Jesus mate looks like you’ve shot some ones milker

I have a confession to make… this year i haven’t done anything gun related, haven’t even touched one until today.
But today i finally got a trigger kit organised and on the way from the U.S of retards, and it was a PITA even going through my LGS, yanks sheesh.
I did have a bit of a window shop and molested a few pistols while i was there but nothing really caught my eye. There was a nice 1911 in 45 but it was a Remington and i’m just not a fan of them.

What? one of these. Definately better 1911’s out there but there are worse ones also.

On another note, damn i wish i could take my guns to work. They are like fidget spinners but for adults.

Yep just like that one lol, it was an R1 Enhanced. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with them at all, but for absolutely no valid reason i’m just Racist against their 1911s, which makes no sense because i don’t feel that way about their rifles lol.

Yeah i get it. I’m similar in that i don’t like the rifles but love the 870.
