What I did in guns this week.

Nothing wrong with the small ones mate… Excellent eating and even better they are piss easy to carry out. If I’d seen it when I was out, I’d definitely find it a temporary home in my freezer before it’s final destination … :beers:

8 packages of meat,1 package of offal,1 skin, and for hooves to sell to folk who like that sort of thing.
Lungs and trachea fed next doors dog. Guts and what was left of the head were left in the bush.
Not much wasted. Yet I copped plenty of flack for shooting a young one. Ah well :man_shrugging:

Flack from who? Fuck them… Metaphorically. Best eating animal and have almost no natural predators, the bleeding hearts will just need to chill out.

Baby animals taste great and are sooo tender.

Love a good Chinese suckling pig.

Yeah fuck em.
I cooked a whole baby goat, little fucker fit in an oven dish all trussed up like a bdsm slave, it was delicious.

This week I, thought of the children.

Or at least how I could get 5 more before I had to reload.
And yesterday shot some redneck clays with @juststarting and a couple of my other mates.

They must fence sitting lefties to complain about the small animal…

Well done bigpete and what was said above ‘‘Fuck um all’’ if they were hungry they’d eat the young game as well they need to get out of their house more often and stop listening to the bleeding hearts of the lefties, what meat i shoot to eat is also mostly young stuff, it’s common sense it’s more tender than the older stuff, these pricks don’t realise that nearly 95% of hams they buy are from pigs only 3-4mth old pigs, i grow pigs for my family and at 4.5mths i can get them to 89kg processed with no head on , the meat works processes them at 55kg or 3mths, sorry i’m getting carried away but it shits me when arseholes with no idea start flapping their gums at people who enjoy supplying their own meat and the type of meat they eat it’s got F’all to do with them, chin up mate well done . :+1:

I was more elegant. You were more eloquent. :grinning:

Yeah kill em with kindness…that pisses them off more!

Bigpete,
I like how you covered the face of Bambi so it wouldn’t be recognised. Nice touch, respect the dead. :+1:

Well I did shoot it in the head from 10m with a 358w…

Gee Bigpete i hope that isn’t your range limit    :+1:

Well i took the 7mm out of the cobwebs and done a full service all good but was left down in the dumps thinking of wouldn’t it be nice to go out and shoot this but hey it’s been raining for the last few weeks and before that i was too busy prepping for xmas maybe next month

Er…no… I used to shoot roos semi professionally and could easily head shoot them at 200m…but even 10m when I’m puffing and panting and a little bit excited was a little bit of an effort lol

Nah we haven’t tried any yet

" I do like to shoot things close." Me too, especially close to the uterus.
No more 3 or 4 trip carryouts for me, that take as manny hours to do so… Well not unless I get overly excited lol… :beers:
@Bigpete, you should consider taking a young bloke under the wing mate, carrying out the game is part of the learning passage… Almost as good as having a pack horse… eh…eh…eh… :beers:
