I ran my missus through some basic training on my .22 lever.
First time she had physically touched a firearm.
Showed some interest in shooting it too.
Some positives from this cv19 thing.
I did the same with my wife many years ago, She had shot a couple of times but didn’t know much about guns. we fixed that by teaching her how to shoot properly and safely then I brought her a 22 magnum and then she started to get right into it.
Her thoughts were that with her own gun she felt apart of the gang when we went shooting and not like some of the other girls and were just borrowing their BF/Husbands. It was a win win situation cause if she didn’t like it then I scored another rifle.
Now she has 22 and 9mm handguns plus her magnum and loves to shoot the 22-250.
Pogue Colonel : Marine, what is that button on your body armor?
Private Joker : A peace symbol, sir.
Pogue Colonel : Where’d you get it?
Private Joker : I don’t remember, sir.
Pogue Colonel : What is that you’ve got written on your helmet?
Private Joker : “Born to Kill”, sir.
Pogue Colonel : You write “Born to Kill” on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What’s that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?
Private Joker : No, sir.
Pogue Colonel : You’d better get your head and your ass wired together, or I will take a giant shit on you. Private Joker : Yes, sir.
Pogue Colonel : Now answer my question or you’ll be standing tall before the man.
Private Joker : I think I was trying to suggest something about the duality of man, sir.
Why don’t you jump on the team and come on in for the big win?
Yes, sir.
I did the same this Sunday as I did last Sunday, SFA gun related.
Put in a new gun safe this week, but other than that, absolute zilch.
I built a new steam pot thing for bluing. I will post on that later. I also went through one of the safes (the, not often or won’t need it soon safe) and did maintenance on everything there… Clean, oil, wipe, etc. 2 shotguns, 1 set of barrels and this:
Can you identify all of them?
You need to take the little dings out of the wood on the one to the left of the Browning
Second from the left is a Mosin? And is right most a Browning T-bolt?
Mosin, correct.
Browning - yes, T-Bolt, no.
No, it stays as it is!
Martini Henry, mosin of some sort, styer m95? , k31 , something browning
Far left your Martine Henry?
MH - correct
Damn homey!
Correct on all accounts.
Mosin 91/30
But which Browning
Woo!
Not sure at all. If it was a browning pump .22 i might be able to pick that.
X-Bolt 223, 1:8 The ‘1:8’ was the reason I got it.
K31 second from right.
