What I did in guns this week.

British, meh. Waaait, is it UK or Vic? I am confused.

Local, WWII effort. Awesome!

Lol no, Welshpool factory was in WA. Though there is a Welshpool in Victoria.

Think some pics in the ammo thread are obligatory.

Yep will do tomorrow.

Thought i’d put this up as proof of 1/4’’ in case my credibility gets shot  3 for group top one for zero

Yep they need a trigger with spring kit plus a main spring, and chucking the “polygay” barrel for a better one just to get them up to the “meh” level. Like i said somewhere else i have developed a soft spot for mine because of the abuse it takes (i treat it like an ugly stepchild), but i just don’t understand the cult following they seem to have. I know a couple of real glock fanbois and i thoroughly enjoy giving them shit. They rave about their “Glocks” that probably owe them 3-4k with the only original part being the box they came in.

Mmmmm would still have one though lol

A few months back i was given one of those new Zevs to take & have a play with, not bad but still not worth the dollars IMO (i think it was about 3.5k from memory), also way too bling bling for me, felt like i needed to be wearing big gold chains baggy pants around my arse and a cap on backwards.

I bought a spike bayonet for a Lee Enfield for $25. Other than that, nothing.

Unfortunately nothing this week or for the next five. Have a new 300WM that I am just dying to shoot when I get home.

SFA, but I have been thinking about getting into casting so have been watching a lot of YouTube clips and doing a lot of reading on the subject. Also looking at powder coating/Hi-Tec coating mixed in with normal gun related videos.

Speaking of casting mate, have you done anything with the slugs I cast you?

Not yet lol, waiting to get my shotty and can’t buy shells until I get it on my license.
Application is currently sitting with WAPOL but will probably be declined like everyone else due to us being wife bashing, mass murdering (especially kids) psychopaths that the government don’t want to have more guns.

I got as far as roughly counting my remaining loaded ammo and loose bullets. Might actually load some next week. Can’t rush these things…

I cleaned some pistols, even the dirty old glock i love to abuse (the treatment of that gun is the real domestic violence lol).
Then i did a count of ammo that’s not vac sealed, sealed most of it, then added that number to the “stored ammo” , did a little maths and went like this

Hey mate what vac sealer do you use? I’ve been looking at getting One for a while.

I’ve got a Luvele Supreme which has been pretty good TBH, it’s the only one i’ve had so cant really compare it to any others, but it is starting to die, it’s had a workout & gets used for the normal reasons, especially when we go camping, and for ammo when i bulk buy.
I’m going to enquire about these this week https://www.vacuumpackaging.com.au/ They’re pretty close to home & have some good small home ones, and i’m told are locally made. But if they don’t stack up i’ll go another Luvele

Well I went for a little walk around the back paddock and stepped over a log that had a very healthy looking fox under it. I only saw it when I looked backwards as saw it running away. Very broad across the shoulders and a nice big fluffy tail.

It was a bit wet but the walk in the bush was really refreshing and I enjoyed it immensely it great to have a reason to get you motivated and out. When it is your own backyard it seems a reason is even more important otherwise you just take it for granted and keep putting it off.

Let’s see, oiled all my dies. That took a while, because I have a lot of dies. Yep.
