Wasn’t shot with a blackpowder gun…
Should have gone to specsavers
Well, it’s Sunday! I’ve decided that Western Action shooting was fun, once. Restocked my 22 supplies. And experimented with swagging or resizing (whatever you want to call it) jacketed projectiles, which seems to work well. I need to do a few more measurements and then I’ll post about it. That’s me for the week.
I went to the range Friday night to meet up with several friends for a casual shoot and to test a new 9mm load in the CZ. I took the TicTak 6.5 CM, CZ 9mm, Glock 9mm and the Volquartzen 22LR just to mix it up a bit. In in all a good night was had by everyone
I freaking love that Volquartzen of yours. I’ve had dreams about it.
I bet they were moist…
Average moist.
Been playing a lot with my Hollis and sons 12g and I’m a bit disappointed with the first barrel, the choke is that open I’ve not been able to kill anything with it yet. But the left barrel is 100%. Bit annoying
Gun club yesterday with the usual benchrest, field pistol and skeet but finally got a chance to shoot a bit of distance today. 1000m with 12m/s winds.
Another week with no triggers for me
Must say, it has been uneventful. I did have a little plink with my APX and that’s about it. Yeah…
I checked my 7 mag 3 for group and 1 for zero it’s still good at 1/4’’
I made my loading bench and man cave all nice and tidy.
No shooting but did get to the Shepparton Arms and Militaria show. Bought a sling and bayonet for Mosin Nagant 91/30, stripper clips for the Turk Mauser and the Mosin and some ww2 surplus 303 in the box with the clips.
What’s the head stamp on 303?
Bugger I would have like to go to that this year. We need to have a calendar set up for this type of thing.
I thought there was a gunshow thread.
Ooooo here’s what I did last week! I shot a couple of Glocks. I have shot ‘a Glock’ before, but that one was polished with after market parts and what not, wasn’t bad, which is why it stuck in my mind. The trigger was pretty good! So last week I shot a couple more, ‘stock’ models. One was ‘match’ model, the other just run of the mill I think. Wow, the worst trigger I have ever used! I wanted a stock Glock, because, well, pop culture… Now, holly shit monkeys - crossed it off my list.
MW 44. So the Welshpool factory.
