Yeah cheers for the confirmation, I had somebody suggest it, and when I asked 2 people at the club I got 3 different answers.
Probably going to get started with an optics 22, until I’ve got the time and space to set up a reloading station I don’t imagine my wallet would enjoy a centrefire.
Still undecided on what to actually go for though, the Volquartsens have been nice every time I’ve shot one but I’m definitely open for suggestions
Top is cci mini-mags, bottom is standard. All from 25m, supported, 3MOA dot. Good enough. Did shoot better groups, but more or less this is the pattern. mini-mags did clump more, but is it worth the $, absolutely not. Going with CCI standard. I have a good supply of that, so everything is sighted in for that.
Swapped things around on 515 and resigned with an older dot I have… Both CCI std. For comp to 25m. Also good enough.
I had a good week gun wise. I finally got my (correct) photo advice letter and got my pic taken for my full Cat H, I ordered some reloading bits n bobs online, went for a plink with a couple of mates yesterday and today I was finally able to put in the PTA for this sexy beast!
Yeah, best I got down there was 15 mins.
I put in a longarms pta here on a friday night and it was approved by the next morning. I was expecting this to be 28 days, this being my first Cat H on my full licence.
Savage A17R, Cat-H Silhouette pistol. Because fuck those chickens and fuck those rams and fuck those goats and fuck those pigs and fuck the registry portal not working!
You see registry, you see what you made do! All i wanted was my stupid ugly Drulov, but now this is happening and its all your fault!!!
Very nice! .22 Martinis are great rifles and lots of fun. You might attract some odd looks if you hum the theme to “Zulu” while using it at the range, though…
Haha might try that…All jokes aside though, i think it will shoot very good with a diet of Eley Match, maybe not Match 54 good, but wont be far behind!
