I was going to make an offer, but you’re sarcasm ruined it.
All good. All in fun. Just jumping on the ‘premium price for historic piece’ band wagon & taking the piss.
It’s the only rifle I have with iron sights so I wanna keep it anyway.
I couldn’t justify selling it for the money I’ve spent fixing it: re: see thread on the 22lr Howa…
Yeah, i wasn’t going to buy it anyway
You know you want it. It’s a 22lr.
I remember how much fun it wasn’t to load up the old 10-22 drum mags with 50 rnds, I don’t think I’d have the attention span to load a 100 rnd mag.
It’s pretty cool, has this Jmaes Bond Gold Finger vibe. Bet it’s accurate AF.
Pretty good condition seeing it’s somewhere between 66 & 88 years old, this 2nd series was made from 1942 - 1958.
I reckon it’ll definitely out shoot my shitty skills!

Winchester Model 70 Super Grade .30-06
30-06… The real man’s .22!
*yaaawn
It’s all just mock up at this stage. I want to reblue it or maybe even get it ceracoated even and the stock needs work to fit my hand properly and probably paint it up some bright stupid colour.
Please dont paint it. It is too nice as it is. It has that special spy look to it just professional enough while still having that mad scientist diy look about it.
It’s like a bulldog, it’s so ugly that its beautiful. Definitely weird.
I’m with @sungazer here. Please don’t change it. It has a cool vibe going.
