Latest blade, went against my ingrained habit of using timber for handles for a change. 110mm blade, full , flat grind using 80CrV2 with G10 Scales. Did some checkering just for shits and giggles. Feels good in the hand
Might even go all out “modern” and do a Kydex sheath. ( Somebody needs a slap up-side of the head)

Looks slick!

I love it.

Came up nice, just playing with a couple of different things. Put a slight taper in the tang and a polished finish on the blade.

That is a sweet looking knife.

Very nice mate.

Looks really well made mate you’re really pumping a few our lately! 80crV2 is a decent carbon steel too!

Just had a mate of mine make these for me…very happy with his work

I like the look of the top one, but they both look good.

Beautiful mate!

The top one he made out of a nicholson rasp file…the bottom is damascus…getting him to make me a bowie knife …when it’s done I will post pics

I love the look of the Damascus but prefer the shape of the Nicholson file.

I made a collage

Had a bloke ask me if I could do a knife with a serrated edge, went for a “Tacti-cool” look, even added fully sick, tacti-cool paracord lanyard. ( Well, okay, it’s a boot lace  )
3-colour G10 “camo” scales with randomised grip pattern, G10 pins. 80CrV2, 5" blade with exposed lanyard hole. 10" overall length. Fucking sharp on both edges.

Not the sort of thing I would carry, but bloody nice workmanship mate

Would you ever try/do a scandi grind Dan?

That knife looks vicious! I’d hate to be on the receiving end of those serrations

It’s a bugger to handle, very easy to cut anything you point it at.
Was mainly an exercise in grinding and cutting the serrated edge, " I wonder how this will turn out", sort of thing.
Scandi grinds are a bitch to finish, it’s very easy to overheat the edge and stuff up the heat treat, same with hollow grinds… If someone wants one I’ll do it, but I prefer flat / sabre or convex grinds.

That’s a nice teh’arium. Reminds me of a plane’ arium I went to.

So I got around to housing the “Tacti-cool” knife. Yeah, I know, those blokes like modern thermo-plastic sheaths with clips so they can use their webbing and shit, but I make stuff out of leather. It is BLACK, so therefore tactical and scary! :open_mouth:

Finished another one as an EDC belt knife for a mate who’s heading up to the Pilbara to work on a cattle station.
