Not the best pics, but here’s a couple more. ( Apologies if I’ve posted these before )
A “rustic” camp knife / chopper with Ironbark scales and hammered finish on blade. I made this one out of an old spring tine off a cultivator. It was supposed to be a very basic frontier style of knife but I added some file-work to the spine and fancied up the brass guard.
The other one is a 4" skinner with Buloke scales. This is a very hard timber and had an almost slippery feel to it so I decided to give it a hand-checkered finish for a bit of grip.

Almost finished another prize knife. Winner asked for a full tang Tanto. Came up with this, 5&1/2 inch blade, Mulga burl scales with blue G10 liners. Mosaic pins and exposed lanyard hole.

Thanks mate. One of our “sillywet” shooters has to decided to support my knife making by donating vouchers as prizes at major shoots. The winners get to choose the specs on the knife. Of coarse the prize voucher only goes so far, I have to put a price on any upgrades. This fellow sent me a photo of a $500 knife he found online and wanted one built the same. When told about how much the upgrades cost he baulked a bit so I was a little hesitant to go too far. It isn’t finished yet but I sent him those pics as a teaser, he now wants me to proceed.
