I’ve never seen a savage mod 24 in a pistol cal (other than 22). This would be a good little gun.

Stupid question time… Is that rear sight something one could purchase and put on a SxS shotgun. Might be a good option for shooting solids??
This type of sight is called “folding leaf” afaik. I don’t see why you couldn’t, if you can find one for sale. Usually found on big game rifles, I suspect, and made for specific rifle and ammo.
