Gun adds I wish I could buy!

Not sure, I would have to check.

You see where this is going, ye? Don’t be smart with me, remember, I’m mean.

Also, @GUN-DMC already messaged me in the morning about this cannon, so yeah, totally not the first. LOL

Now if you excuse me, I’m going to listen to some mad beats (Mozart VS Beethoven by London Symphony Orchestra, if anyone is wondering) while I have a nap on the train.

Lol, nap time

For you Winchester 22 fans…

Interesting variety there.

$500 smackaroos, or more like $650+ before it gets to your safe… Just say no.

They are over-priced. They are $250 - $400 guns, I’d personally wouldn’t pay more than $300. I live in metro-Melbourne, so shipping cost is not bad, however it would still be $120 or so on top.

The only one worth looking at for that price, is the one at the bottom of the photo with hexagonal long barrel. Even that, in its condition is not a $500 rifle, especially when second hand Henries and Browning BL rifles can be found from time to time for $200 more. Granted, this little pewpewnators are freaking reliable as anything, but even reliable has its price (which is $250 - $400).

It’s probably worth that to a collector with a gap to fill in their collection, but as a funky hipster shooter, tell him he’s dreaming.

Except they are not all 1906 models, and 2 of them are worth potentially a lot more than $500. If one of them is a particular version of it’s model you could be looking at $5000 easy to an American collector, as a standard model it is still 3 to 500 any day of the week. The other 2 are up to $1000 depending on condition. If you took the time to get close up photos to determine exactly what variation you have there you could do yourself a big favour, Cheers.

I wasn’t far off :stuck_out_tongue: The top ones anyway, pop up regularly for what I said… Just going by established price that they sell for (and what I buy them for). Bottom ones, I think yeah…

@no1mk3

  1. What am I missing here?
  2. Since you are here, can you tell me more about second from the bottom?

The 2nd from the bottom is a Model 1890, it will be made for a single cartridge either 22 Short, Long, long Rifle or WRF. The bottom rifle is also an 1890, late variation, the 4th from the bottom is a Model 62, could be pre-war which will kick it’s value, and the 2nd from the top is an early production 1906, serial should make it a 2nd type but it has the 1st type fore grip. I checked my database and the Model 62 is not the valuable “Gallery” type so no big bikkies, but still desirable

Gee, if one has a hexagonal barrel, you’d better snap it up quick! Rarest one of all, considering they never made any. Octagonal barrels on the other hand,…

Shut up dick. LOL. Octa, hexa, all the same  It’s one missing from my 22 fetish collection. But I don’t like the condition it’s in.

Both the bottom rifles, 1 & 2, are octagonal barrels, the photo doesn’t well define this.

1st Centrefire rifle I ever shot. With pre WW1 ammo so the slight hangfire accentuated the recoil to the small boy. Sometimes my Father could be a bit of a bastard, but it did take a lot of nagging to get a go shooting it…

I believe Mr @GUN-DMC has this baby

I believe I have one too.Though mines an Enfield.
