Bored shit-posting

Ok another topic

School at Home.

I am having a few issues in maths the student are supposed to collect data on a very simple two outcome question.

they have to design a question to ask to get people to respond correctly.

It is like pushing sloppy shit uphill to get my daughter to focus at the task on hand and make a decision on two simple options. The rest gets progressively harder.

How are you coping with home schooling and what issues are you having?

Pretty much this. I think the age difference plays a really big part. I review the plan in the morning, we make a to-do list and we cross the activities off as we go. Anything not completed due to lack of focus (there are of course other reasons) has to be completed later in the day.

I enforce posting work regardless of what it is, so it’s in his best interests to complete everything or at least most of things, but with quality, since it gets posted online.

From time to time we give him a day of, just to relax, lots of daily outdoor time too. Final enforcement is removal of already limited gaming time, that’s only limited to gaming time (you can block on iPad and Xbox is in the living area so that’s easy). The iPad itself is not off limits, because that’s his window to his friend (group chats with friends, etc).

Once in a while, if he wants a day off, he gets it, but that’s used very sparingly and he is seems responsible with it (you just know when he needs it).

All in all, it’s bloody hard, maintaining focus is very hard.

I have all but given up on home schooling, it was that or end up murdering them!

Another unmotivated weekend under house arrest. I did go grocery shopping though, so that’s a plus lol

I didn’t even put the rubbish out before curfew.

I am looking forward to visiting my Mum and being allowed out til 9, like I was when I was 12.

I really feel for you guys

At least I get to travel outside my 5k’s sometimes for work and was prepared.
I even have papers to let me into Bunnings.
Lots of people doing it worse than me.

We’re all in this together.

Is there context for this?

That’s should be on the news!

Uh posted by MP, guess it is on the news.

I looked but I think it was too early for anything. My guess is its a criminal who has probably assaulted police or others and isnt complying, but it doesnt deserve a headstomp surrounded by police.
I guess the story will be on the morning news cycle.

Its on the news now.

Victoria is well on its way to becoming Nazi Germany.

That nice cop was just stamping his foot in protest to the lock down when that bad man assaulted him by attacking his foot with his head. I hope the officer is ok and had his foot checked by a medic.
Luckily the man was already handcuffed and restrained or he may have also attacked the officers baton with his face or even stole the officers bullets by hiding them in his chest cavity.

When I say it’s on the news now, it’s been picked up on the other side of the world, the ABC however, well…

Im not down with your in the burbs. Its bad enough up here. If I was down in the burbs I couldnt help myself but flaunt that curfew in so many mays. Just because I have that rebellious streak in me and wanting to do something to have a little fun like when I was 17-18. The consequences may have upped the anti though and could really ruin your life.

Now I’m hearing the poor bastard is in a coma. he was mentally ill, luckily now one day after RUOK day he’s just regular I’ll!

I wonder if sneaking out for a smoke after curfew behind the big tree so mum cant see would be an acceptable reason.
