In competition, the main person I try to beat is myself.
If I shoot well or shoot a P.B, I’m happy. If I beat others and finish on top, well that’s okay too.

Wasn’t my greatest weekend of shooting, performance wise, I’ve done better. Considering how rubbish the weather was though, I’m grateful I managed what I did.

Yes, that is a good thing, but then again, I’ve sometimes shot shithouse and finished on top. To find out that you shot a higher shit score than others doesn’t make the shit score any better for me.

The iron sights you gave me are fixed and fitted but not sighted in. Was a reasonable sort of shot on 2x and twisted around to my right at 45⁰

Shot 1 at 10m last time. Haven’t shot any over 100m on this place yet,most of them been under 50m. Been inside 40m quite a few times

Nice work Pete, how good is it for them to come up nice & close too. We’re getting them coming through the inlaws place ATM, If i was allowed to shoot them (no they won’t let me lol) it could be with 50-100m shots sitting in the back pergola or pool.
Last year they were woken early one morning by the noise of splashing water, it was a big buck taking a piss under the verandah outside their bedroom window, he just calmly hung around & they got photos of him in the garden.

I shot a 677 today at the Service Match club championship unsupervised with two misfires and a new gun. Yeah they’re excuses, what are you gonna do about it?
I had fun, and am getting better each week. Can’t wait to have my own damn gun. Winner was a guy who’s won the State Titles with an ~830 something, and he made mistakes.
