What I did in guns this week.

45/70. No point imo in buying one in 30/06

Looks good bigpete . I like how the bullets have mashed up the dirt behind the target.
I tested some reloads , they worked pretty good but I need some more practice and more reloads!
Also had a go at ranging with a reticle in the new scope on my .22 and shot some long range ( for me) targets.

So now i feel dumb… what is regulatong a double and how is it done?

What i did in guns is read a few posts here and think of taking the rifle out for a few bunnies…

Reading counts.

Regulating is getting both the barrels to hit to the same point ( actually should be an inch apart) at all distances with your chosen load.

How do you do it BigPete? Aren’t the barrels welded tpgether?

Nope, one is floating and they’re joined at the tip with a jack screw in the middle

Holee sheeeit I never knew that existed. I learned something awesome.

Maybe you can do an info thread on how it is actually done???
Would be interested to see details.

Just spent a few hours stoning the ejectors on my AyA ejector shotgun and getting them to work. Happy to say they do seem to now

Went to the pistol range for some powder therapy and sold a shotgun i didn’t like, good week all around.

Best thing is now there’s a gap in the safe that just NEEDS to be filled.

Well… I did heaps of pew pew related things this week, but…

This is really the highlight (well, not really) - fun.

Is that a canister for a paintball gun or something?

…or something. Air rifle.

What did you think of it? Dad loved his air rifle growing up. Think it was a multi-pump, rather than canister.

Heaps of fun.

Took the AyA for a walk at my sister’s and dropped this fox at 30m with a load of BBs. Nice to know the time spent getting the ejectors to work was a waste, they still didn’t eject the empty. Fucking ejectors

Air Pistol or Air Rifle. When I was living in the US for a while I had a little air Pistol to play with in the back yard. It took the same or similar canisters.

Crossman air rifle.
