Hi all. Used to hunt a lot before Johnny bought my guns back. Got back into it recently, more plinking, targets, and reloading than hunting.
Have seen a couple of deer thru the scope but did not see the point of shooting them. Rabbits are fair game tho!

Welcome aboard mick we do a lot more talking than hunting too dont worry. However most of the members do shoot regularly and have a wealth of knowledge that goes to extremes that I never new existed. The really good thing here I think we have most of it covered by people that are doing it / living it and willing to share there experience and if that is not enough they have the connections of the best experts in Australia or overseas.

Hey fellow enthusiasts, just a quick one to say hi as I’m new to this forum. I found my way here after receiving a reply from @juststarting in another forum regarding iron sights. I’ve been trolling around getting up to speed and generally feeling out the vibe.
My main interests are Pest Control and a bit of Clay target from time to time. Ive recently purchased a 22 after 30 odd years since the last one. Back in the time when you didn’t feel like a common criminal for having an old plinker stuffed behind the seat of the ute.
So it has revived an interest in .22 rimfires to the point I have bought 2 in the last week… LOL. (New Gun Safe next item) as I’m running out of room.
Look forward to chatting here from time to time and enjoying the common interest.

Hey thanks for the kind welcome @juststarting @bentaz and 1Fatman. Only just starting out in the hobby but looking to learn on .22 LR before getting my hands on an SMLE or something similar. Was recommended to join here by two lads on reddit and its definitely living up to reputation!
