Very nice. You should do a how to on that explaining what you used and how. I am sure I would not be the only one interested.
My day or two is coming in the reloading room. The number of empties is growing.

Wax slugs was the flavour of the day today. Have never made them, so here’s the first batch.
Don’t mind the overflow, all of that got wiped off. Stay tuned for a separate writeup.
will have to post up how they go. ive not tried wax. Ive been converting cheap 7 1/2 shot trap loads to 1 oz slugs and roll crimping. pretty decent accuracy
That’s exactly what I do, @TheDude. Although, lately I’ve been using paraffin instead of roll crimp. Works alright, although doesn’t look badass enough.
What’s going on in the bottom pic? Sorting a bucket of ‘I’ll get to it later’ stuff?
That was me sorting brass after the first Plinkfest.
What are u shooting the 38 special out of?
Badass. TB loads?
Yeah TB after all that dacron nonsense and stuff in the other thread I just went back to old faithful.
Not very porn like but got some time today to play in the shed. Did about 250 x 22-250, 200 x 6.5x55 and resized 150 x 30-06.
Got enough ammo stockpiled to get me through to January/February when I build my new reloading setup.
Replied here:
Tried powder coating for the first time… Unless I am shooting black powder, this is what I am going to use from now on. Seems to be a much more efficient approach.
Anyway, that’s 45-70 done and dusted for a while. I also want to do Carcano and 8x56R, but I need to make some ingots first,
Next, making 45-70 from hell
You have been a busy lad.
Looking good.
Yeah, but I am not happy with the consistency of how they look. Or rather, I know I can improve. That’s for the dedicated thread. Will do some more over the weekend maybe, weather permitting and see what happens. Need to flux lots of wheel weights first.
