It’s quite funny how it actually made the news. What do they expect when they play political games, they get more political responses.
Got an email from SSAA WA attacking the eastern states shooting organisations saying they are not in the room and not in the deal and not friends with the police minister…
What’s wrong with good cop bad cop?
Speak softly SSAA… and let SU/NSC carry a big stick!
Fuck me.
A friend of the WA Police minister would not be a name id wanna give myself as a shooting org.
SSAA. Selling-out Shooters in Australia Again!
Yeah its hard to talk loud with a cock in your mouth!
Not to be a defeatist but I don’t think any of those organisations are going to change this shit show. Seems they are hell bent on stopping non work related firearms use.
It’s good that there are different groups that have different ideas on what will work but we need to remind ourselves, this isn’t just a SAT court case against WAPOL, it is legislation being driven by a majority gov that doesn’t need to make deals.
I hate to say it, but you guys need to put up some candidates that are worthy of your vote… you know what that means dont you…
Nominating to be a candidate? Might just move to Vic instead.
What’s really funny about that is that we are in the room; we have an official presence in WA, and we are talking to MPs. And SSAA WA know this.
I will say the SSAA are being incredibly unprofessional the way they’re carrying on. It’s pretty obvious quite a few of their members have had enough of them - they’ve had 50 years to effect change and have done nothing, and now two other shooting groups have started getting active and SSAA WA are having a tantrum about it and attacking the other groups.
Their Facebook page is interesting reading. I wonder how long until they set it to private so they don’t have to hear from people who aren’t telling them how great they are?
Been a few years since i was on Facebook, but the SSAA pages were always pretty easy to get banned from.
Its more likely youll find shooters on the GCA page than the SSAA one.
Yeah i couldnt live there…that premier in a knob!
Yeah their message button on the website is non responsive, until you ask the question…‘why have a message button thats non responsive’ Got a fairly short answer! Lol
2 new bear cats getting ready for the confiscation ? Wonder if we’ll get some cheap black 200 series in the auctions soon.
funny… the yanks just bought a heap of these across there country… maybe just a coincidence??
It’s not “just”. Procurement would have started a long time ago.
2 years ago maybe
oh… right …
Just like in the NT, they’ll be used for driving through the front yard of some two-bit weed peddler who once owned a .22LR. They will be piloted by a crew of psychos who never get to endure the shootout they so desperately seek, with each boring “raid” adding to their frustration as much as their erectile dysfunction. The constant arms race that is being organised, run and won by state police is un Australian. This equipment serves no Australian citizen, it simply increases the buffer between citizen and bureaucrat.
