Gun adds I wish I could buy!

Yes I did see the review where there was some conjecture about the action strength or at least some signs of wear. It does look heaps nicer than the 7615 though much cleaner in its lines.

I’m clearly in the minority because I like the 7615 in its factory state (ie not the ones where people have added a bunch of extra shit to them to make them more like an AR-15)

I think you would be, However I did like the original ghost sights they seemed very practical and fit for purpose for the gun. But on the other hand the upgrades to pistol grip it and get a flat recoil are impossible to resist for me.

I dont care who that guy was and be fucked if I’d pay 3 grand for a single barrel shotgun, but man I’d love a 12ga slug pistol

And here i am thinking of getting a new car. That would have to be gone, it’s been up over an hour.

Does it have the kill count inscribed on the stock?

No, but if you buy it you could always start one?

Always really wanted either a legit green thumbhole Accuracy International or at least the chassis in green, yet this one has popped up at a bit of an inconvenient time.

One day I’ll own one and tick my nerdy box of having an AWP

Still not worth it to me…I think i will start over with a shotgun powder, when i run out of 05…

Can confirm this item is identical to the one I bought from C***ver’s years ago. Absolutely genuine…unless that store was buying them from AllahAkbarEpxpress too? I dunno. Seems like a production overrun or possiblyu factrory seconds, but if you want a bargain red dot,. this one is it. It comes with every siungle thing mine came with. Happily surprised.

They shoop the SIG logo in the images, but it arrives with the logos. Its contents are identrical to myu original, the two height plates, the instructions, the plastic key, everything.,

So after ordering one I went down the inevitable Ali shopping rabbit hole and did notice this on another one lol.
Me thinks they might be knockoffs, but hey for 90 bucks if the Chineezium lasts for a little while it’ll do, and to be honest just the mounts are probably $90 here anyway lol. But who knows what they mean with the Chinese to English translation.

There is like this exponential curve looking thing, when Chinese manufacturers realise they have quality product (think Vector and Crimson). I picked up a few Vector dots locally for not much more than that and I think @Supaduke and I recommended them to a few people. And of course later prices went up. Vixen (although Japanese, I call it the new Vortex) and Vortex (the actual Vortex lol) had the same trajectories.
It is a bit of a lucky dip at times, but more often than not you get a pretty good product.

One thing that’s really differentiates cheap shit vs a good product is actually the mounting hardware, more so than the electronics. Cheap stuff is cheap soft aluminium that’s really easy to strip if you tighten it to the required torque. So yeah… YMMV

p.s.
These days I’d go reflex over tube-type red dot. I would consider a small x3 prism red dot deal, but those are not cheap. For everything else I like reflex style a lot more.

Not sure what it’s like in the world of electronics, but with clothes you could often purchase items from the manufacturer that were made on the same line as the genuine labels.

Some friends buy clothes this way - all the same shit without the branding at a fraction of the price.

It’s like that over there for everything i think. Years ago a bloke i know went over there to have a look at injection moulding machines for his business, he went to the factory that made a specific top quality brand. They just straight out told him he could buy them from that company, or he could buy the exact same machine direct from the factory under a different brand name for 25% of the cost, or even invent his own brand name and they’d put his brand on them lol. He ended up buying three for 75% of the price he was going to pay for one. He was one happy camper.

Then there’s the other side of the coin where they produce absolute crap, It’s a lucky dip when you’re ordering from your loungeroom in Oz.

Aldi vs anything electronic… Tends to look identical and you get a semblance of warranty

Well my Chow Sauer Copio 5 arrived today and have to agree with @JizzFlinger, it looks the goods . If it’s a fake it’s a quality fake.

I guess a bit of time & torture testing will figure out if it’s real or Sony guts.
