Makes sense - probably more valid a reason than why I picked up a P14 lol. I pretty much bought it because I found it quirky how the bolt itself was bent around.

I recon I missed this by seconds. I hadn’t heard of a high mount No1 MKIII only the No4 MKI T so after a quick google I jump back over to call and it was already sold. Got to be quick.

I always said the only way I would get my collectors license would be for SMLE or parker hale sniper rifles. An issued SR98 would be cool but I doubt our gov would surplus them.
I don’t want to get a collectors and just fill it with 303’s, there are already thousands of people doing that. I already have a glued up 303 on the wall that I get to look at everyday. That is one thing in WA rendered firearms can be on display and are not licensed.

And if you have anything else in a calibre close to a 303 they’ll query what’s your genuine need it over what you currently have?
Iron sights will do for the first one but forget any more.
If you get it under collectors it can’t leave your safe as far as I know.
