Try standing up straight with that on 50L that may be an underestimate.

Do anyone here know much about Parker Hale rifles? I’ve managed to figure out that this is a Model 1000 off the photos the bloke has sent me, and is likely a commercial Santa Barbara Mauser action.
Were Parker Hale rifles in general any good? I’m tempted to get this just to mess around with, and shoot the odd dog or two.
Parker Hale rifles were very good - the M82 was the standard sniper rifle for several countries until fairly recently.
That’s some nice looking wood on your .243.
As long as it’s reasonably accurate enough to smack dogs from 100-200 m away I would be happy.
For that they would be fine unless it had been completely abused.
Makes sense - pity I can’t inspect it because of lockdown
Parker Hale are awesome rifles! Try and find a decent M82, at a decent price…
Should be sub-thread to this, ‘Gun adds I bought and wish I could go to a shop to pick it up.’
"The gun i bought that ran out of warranty before i even touched it " thread.

Yaaaaas! Who needs to start a yacht race?
If that is a Cat A cannon whats a Cat B ?
A bolt action Canon with a 5 round detachable magazine… as long as it’s not black and scary looking
I’m kind of glad that cannon is $17.5k, eases the temptation.
Edit: To be a Cat B it would be a cartridge based, primer fired breech loader (most World War 1 and any World War 2 or onwards, light artillery or tank gun)
Muzzle loaders are cat A.
Would love to replace my cracked stock with one of these two
