CZ 515 lever release 22LR (reviews)

My money on tactical.

Well yes wood is my preferred stock on most guns I love the natural look of wood. Love the grain structure. However for a tactical weapon of war/mass destruction the industrial metal look is the way to go.

Funny about that. It wasnā€™t on my list of reasons to get one. Perfectly happy using my old bolt action for that purpose. However if it shoots like JS and Mr Superā€™s It might find it way to one of those comps.

I see the CZ515 as a pistol fun type gun, without having a pistolā€¦deep down, I know i need a tactical one!

Actually after @Supaduke post I went back and looked at the woody and quite liked it.

I was thinking of another rifle released not long ago that came in wood and tactical as well dont remember which one but it was ugly.

So who in Victoria has them at the best price?
$1515 at Clayton -is that about right?

That seems to be the average price I have seen the wood version a little cheaper but not much. @Supaduke is right after looking at the wood versions again I was warming to them. You wont save any money by buying second hand other than perhaps some accessories thrown in like a scope or extra mag. A lot of them are more than new price. Go new.

There is a new one on used guns for $1350 use that add to drive a discount if you can as it would cost you the difference in shipping transfers and more in time.

Thanks for that, but I think Iā€™ll just grab one at Clayton.

I wonder if the backwards mag is comedy or someone is a Gronk

I never even noticed. I would put my money on the Gronk.

Ok im oldā€¦whats a Gronk?

I had never heard of it either but assumed it was a dumb ass from the context as I am sure you did. I thought it may have been a Ben word. When you asked the question I good old googled it Ta Da.

So to get this thread back on track a question re the barrel band/block thingy that attaches to the guard. How is it removed from the barrel. Did you find any better shooting with the barrel free floating?

Never took it off and never had accuracy issues, so unfortunately i canā€™t help there.

my mistake I thought you had taken it off somehow and had a fully floating barrel. The screw that held the block to the hand gaurd on mine was frozen stuck and required drilling out and using an easy out to remove it.

Iā€™m keen on the 25 round magazines, any left?

Funny because in the free states we are not allowed those, 15 max :sleepy:

Thanks Men.

In time Iā€™ll catch up with the WA crew.

Iā€™ll buy a few 15 round mags & get shooting.
One of the tricky things for me is, holding the gun nice & still :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
