So it seems we had a tornado just down the road and it’s taken out 10 of the massive transmission towers.
Power cor just rolled into town with a genny the size of a semi trailer, so hopefully we’ll be lit up and air conned again soon.

Doubt it’s a tornado, just kick ass winds. Unless there are sharks, if there are sharks in the field, than it’s definitely a tornado.

It killed two people when their parked car was picked up and lifted around 9 metres off the ground and thrown 100 metres into a ditch

Yes rare, but they have been recorded around Ballaarat numerous times. Less rare in that district.

I can only speak with certainty of the Sandon tornado as its the only one I’ve ever seen. There may well have been Yabbies and Redfin in it, but certainly no sharks.

Just spoke to some dudes from powercor or who are setting up the massive generator, the real story is yes it was a tornado, but only 4 towers down, ripped a water tank off a house and blew round bales through fences, they think we’ll be on genny power for a while before it’s fixed.
Power should be on in the next hour or so.

Nah, I’ve just had a couple of drinks and am in the paddock I watched it from ATM.
I also knew a bloke who got attacked by a Polar bear, a Kid who got mauled by a Tiger and had a Mate who got struck by Lightening twice.
You sound like a good bloke to not be mates with!
