Cheers mate, I guess itâs an automatic thing from the forum platform to stop people going off on unhinged rants & bombarding the other poor buggers with multi posting shite. Usually itâs probably a wise thing to have, but not really needed in our rare little oasis of peace & happiness here at OGL.
Itâs an automatic feature to help combat spam posting, which yeah, isnât really needed here, but itâs built in to the platform.

I tell ya, it better try to kill us now after the amount of prep work Iâve done.
We are prepared to be cut off from town and power for a week.
The birds are ratchet strapped to the house strapped down the Koi filters and shoved everything I can into the shed and done a big tidy up.
Itâs just wait n see now mate. We are right at the bottom of the danger zone, @JSS probably has more to worry about than us.

Nature is one thing you really cant fight and expect to win. The power in an electrical storm is just off the charts.
I mean its not really hitting the headlines but Africa is breaking a bit off again. The gap is quite considerable already.

What are you talking about? Is there meant to be some rain coming or something? Yeah Iâve done all I can. The trampoline in the backyard looks like itâs ready for a bondage party, all itâs missing is the gimp mask.
The gennie is fueled & ready to flick on because Iâll be fucked if Iâm going through a cyclone without cold beverages a hot shower and Netflix & the internet.
Hopefully the neighbours yard wonât try to flood my garage again, but Iâm sure itâll try so fingers crossed Iâve got that sorted out now.
The only thing Iâm honestly wondering is what level of wind speed itâll take to turn the carport into a kite of steel & timber 
Now I just have to sit back and summon my inner Lieutenant Dan and enjoy the ride.

Looking at the TV now and they are trying real hard to make something out of nothing. The best they can say its a lull no rain no wind and flat sea. But I would give it full respect and stay out of its way Shit happens and it can change fast.

Point of fact, it canât be a TROPICAL cyclone, it 'ainât in the tropics. Itâs an intense low pressure system and the further it travels south the less heat energy it has to sustain itself.
All low pressure systems are technically âcyclonesâ, highs are termed âanti-cyclonesâ.
