I suspect it barely touches anyone I know, but damn, that sucks.
With Australian dollar being where it is, I would have thought that it would be the other way around. I would have thought that salary, benefits operational costs and everything else would be cheaper. Although consolidating and importing is probably the cheapest and fastest option. That said, I can’t help but wonder if there is unionised labour force there that had a part in it.
Either way, another Australian manufacturer gone, sad.
Defiantly not looking good for Australia. As you said with the way our dollar is it seems hard to fathom their thinking and it is not like our dollar is going to improve anytime soon.
Just wait to see how long before the government up’s the tax so the price of ammo rises, just another way for them to whittle us down.
