WA gun portal data breach

Well, fuck…

Wasn’t really a hack or beach, Ex committee member still has access to the club license as there was no way to remove their access without cancelling the full license. Idiots should have picked it up on testing but this happens when you don’t bother to consult with end users and you have your own idea of how things work.

Hacking, I don’t know. Depends on intent of a person viewing the information.
data breach - it is absolutely a data breach.

I dont think anyone here would be surprised to learn that WA or any state in Aus would have a data breach of information that the Gov has collected from us.

And of course SSAA WA are out there telling everyone it’s not that big a deal about it and blaming the people raising the alarm over yet another WA firearms legislation fuckup for inconveniencing them.
