Unlicensed shooters on private property (VIC)

Hi gang,

Are unlicensed shooters permitted to use firearms on private property in Victoria? Assuming they are being supervised by the licence holder, of course. I’ve tried looking through the legislation, but my poor searching skills couldn’t find a definitive answer. The only state I’m aware of where this is permitted is in SA. Anyone know for VIC?

Simple answer is no mate. In Victoria unlicensed people can only shoot supervised at a range.

It should, same for teaching kids to safely handle and use firearms, which is legal in QLD.

Totally should be legal though such a pain!

We in the USSWA can supervise unlicensed and young shooters on private property. One of the few laws we have that are good.
