This is something we need to discuss as i have night vision setup on my 222 that’s great out to 100m
It just seems really, really fishy that a bloke would end up with a jug of Trailboss expecting to load 12 gauge, and being surprised that Trailboss is indeed little donuts. and then arrive on a forum and asking $1500 for it. In all seriousness, you should really keep that jug of TB, because you wont see anymore for a long time and its good for a lot of things like 30-30, and subsonic .308’s, and really accurate 38 special target loads etc… You can literally load every single centrefire brass cartridge with Trailboss and not blow your face off. Its amazing stuff. It just smells horrible.
Yes, if you dont shoot cast, its not much good to you, but as others state, keep it, im keeping any powder, that comes my way, including a 30yr old unopened can of Nobel 64 Shotgun powder.
Ive ok results shooting it under jacketed pills too though. In the .222 I used it with 55gn super roo’s.
Actually it was the savage i traded for the cadet barrel that shot them ok
Mated the barrel to an action yet? I regret parting with that…So much fun gun!!
I use trailboss with jacketed bullets, no probs.
