The big fat COVID-19 thread.

Wait, you’re happy that people are being forced out of work because they won’t give up their bodily autonomy? Or are you just happy because others are in the same boat?

I am very much pro choice, but this is not it at all. Somewhere up above here you were like, oh, I better not make fun of locked down Victorian scum, it will come back to haunt me and yet you decided to continue. And so it has. Begin evil kakle!

quietly hugs @JizzFlinger and whispers something sexy.

We were not too fussed about shooting footy fans at all, the real issue was that they brought the guns over and wouldn’t share,

Oh, your happy that terrirorians are suffering gotcha :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:.

Well, like taxes I don’t actually pay them I just collect them for the government. Who allegedly works for how long etc… Now I have to do the same for their vax stats if you get my drift. I love my staff and I respecr their rights to privacy and to bodily autonomy.

No! Just you

In other news:

Queensland’s CHO has issued a grim warning, claiming everyone will “end up infected with Covid” when the state reopens its borders.

I love reading between the lines… Reads like this: QLD CHO (and all CHOs) realise that they are useless and 15 minutes is about to end.

I’m pretty happy those blokes got a few weeks jail, they’re out in December before Christmas, it was selfish everyone else has to play by rules, why should they be exempt

Really? That’s a bit harsh.

Yeah, fine them a fair bit to make an example I suppose, but jail??? Really?

Yeah, very disproportional and sad, goes hand in hand with tribal mentality.

I agree it’s a bit harsh, but fining them doesn’t do shit, just like the family who were fined for slipping into Qld with fake travel documents via their private 60 or70ft yacht. Their fuel bill & captains wages would’ve been twice that of the fine they were given so where’s the disincentive. Scare the fuckers with the precedent now being set of a bit of jail time and it evens the playing field for the rich & poor.

I suppose you guys are a bit more used to covid spreaders and people just doing what they want at the expense of others but over here it’s a no no, for the most part we’ve lived restriction free and we don’t want to give that up, especially at the expense or two suits who thought they were above the law, controversial I know but just my opinion

@AusTac - you have drank the totalitarian cool aid. Do you wear a mask when you are having sex?

To be fair i probably have a bit but I’ve also not been in lock down for over 200 days or whatever it is these days

My point exactly. And the ONLY thing that’s preventing spread in WA is location and population dispersion, to think that it’s McCracker who’s keeping you safe or some arbitrary rules is both naïve and stupid.

We can agree to disagree but I believe if we had a premier who was like ’ come on over everyone ’ we’d be just like the east coast, it’s only a 4 hr plane trip or 4 day drive to get here, it’s not impossible

:man_facepalming:

Yep and i think Qld backs up that theory too. The big “Fuck off” sign at the front gate has worked pretty well so far.

If our premier really cared he would spend as much money on our hospitals to prepare for opening as he has on police spending recently. New choppers, boats and increased numbers of coppers but fuck all new beds. Our hospitals are on daily yellow alert for beds and are kicking people out. He’s bragging about surplus but not doing anything to help the community.

If he had to deal with close border cities he would have failed miserably just like the rest of them.

Guess what mate, covid is coming whether you like it or not. All McCrackhead has done is put it off a little while.
Either that or you remain cut off from the whole world for the rest of your lives!

Legal workers and employees in Victoria are to be exempt from Andrews mandates.
