SSAA risks split as Queensland goes its own way - Sporting Shooter

SSAA QLD are reportedly withholding membership fees from SSAA National and appear to be about to split off and get their own shooting organisation (highly unlikely to involve blackjack and/or hookers, however).

They really are a cluster fuck, and I say that as a committee member of my local (NSW) branch.

Fuck me, nobody gives a fuck about any of those publications, they are so out of touch. And, services not delivered, what are we paying for attitude is great. Maybe everyone needs to take a good look at themselves and ask about delivered value, that doesn’t include junkmail.

Queensland does need a good organization to stand up for gun owners. They are the next state to get the heavy hand and it will spread south.

Shooters union is their only hope, unless SSAA QLD takes a whole new route. As we know the SSAA will just bend all their members over so the government can fuck them, history doesn’t lie.

Maybe SU can absorb the branch, image that. Mmmmm.

It’s unlikely, especially because there’s a lot of rusted-on Fudds who love the SSAA, but I do think SU is likely to pick up quite a few members from people who say “You know what? I never go to the range anyway, I don’t need SSAA membership.”

Interesting, but to be honest my care factor for SSAA is so low I didn’t even bother reading the article. They’re a bunch of money grabbing do nothing fucktards who stopped getting my money at my last renewal.

Hopefully the breakaway group are more aligned with shooters rights and band together with SU to fight for Qld shooters because I think we’re going to need it.

Unfortunately the breakaway group hate SU with a passion because of reasons no-one has been able to adequately explain beyond “SU exists”, as far as I can tell.

Typical.
