Looking for a recommendation for a reasonable spotting scope.
Will be used mainly for pistol shooting but would come in handy for when using the rifles.
Budget will be around $800 - $900 max but if it is cheaper then that’s a bonus.

For handgun, just get good binos. It’s only 25m or 50 at the most.
I would still like to use it for rifles as well.
Should never have sold my old one.
I use a vanguard HD 82A. Been very happy with it. Think it was around the 650-700 mark at the SSAA shot expo a few years back. I use a brownells bench clamp mount for it that lets me position it to my left on the bench without taking up a heap of space with a tripod
