got a punter in south aust wants to buy some pistol parts from me. got copy of his licence and can some one explain what “Ammunition Only Employee Only” means please. id assume he just works in a gun shop and doesent actually have a gun licence?

That is a strange license no matter which way you look at it. To posses ammunition ok I can live with that. But to use ammunition. How or what do you do with that?

I don’t understand why anyone would hire a non shooter to work in their gun shop?
I get the ammo dealers, there’s plenty of stock feeds etc out in the country that sell ammo but not guns, but a gun shop…
That’s like a skinny chef or a mechanic that can’t drive, makes no sense to me.

Me either, it’s not the industry to have people with no idea selling stuff. You should’ve seen the advice the “thinks she does but doesn’t know shit” girl in my mates gunshop was giving yesterday to a brand new shooter who’d already bought his gun but had now idea & came in for some advice.
I ended up joining the conversation and helped him out until my mate got off the phone, but the poor bastard nearly got his head filled full of shit 
She ended up going out the back all huffy & embarrassed for looking like a dunce.
