Show us your guns.

Well, getting them talking was never a goal, I just really like the design and all. Everything else is a side effect I suppose.

Yes but chaos and confusion in older people will definitely lead to some talking

Yeah, maybe old is poor choice of words on my part, @1Fatman loves crazy shit, while @Supaduke yelled at me and said he will tell my mum on me for putting a scope on a lever. He’s a snitch like that. I regret nothing!

That red wood looks sick as.

Is that the At-One stock? Looks like it gives a decent range of adjustments.

Yep, The One.

I actually managed to take a half decent photo of a gun. Normally my pics are shit.

Nice shot!

Been pretty quiet here… Now new toys? Anyone? Anything?

As soon as I’m able to apply for my Cat H Licence/PTA I’m putting a deposit on a handgun. :gun:
I’m eligible now actually, I just have to hit up the club this weekend. I will post here. :+1:

Just FYI
There’s a locked section dedicated to handguns and available to members with trust level 3 or those who shoot handguns. Trust level is based on forum participation and it’s all automated. But legitimate card carrying member lol get added manually when they are qualified pistoleros

Picked up a Sauer S100 in 7mm-08, now just waiting for a free weekend to get it down to the Newcastle range and try it out

Nice, be sure to let us know how it goes.

Found out about a range near Merriwa that’s a bit closer so ended up out there and found a box of Remington rounds that groups around an inch that I’m quite happy with so far

Does the Sauer remind you of any other rifle action you have shot before?

I haven’t had a lot of experience on different bolt actions, but I did find that it wasn’t something I could casually bring the bolt down with at the moment. It seems to be that it needs a final press at the end to get the clearance to turn the bolt handle down. I’m not sure if that’s going to ease up with use or if the extractor needs a bit of force to get over the cartridge rim but I didn’t notice it if I worked the bolt with a little enthusiasm rather than a lazy cycle off the bench if that makes sense. In saying that, it was very comfortable to use and handle and I’m keen to take it out and about now
