Here’s my 223 Ruger #3 wearing a zeiss diavari scope.Had them both for ages, bought both secondhand.
Ruger loves Barnes 50 grn Varmint grenades ahead of 28 grains CFE 223, or 36 grain Barnes Varmint grenades ahead of 26 grains Vv N135 or I’ve just found it really likes PPU 62 BTFMJ for range work ahead of 24.5 grns N135.

Took this ol’ girl out for shoot this morning.
Shot about as well as I expected considering the rifling is more of an abstract concept than it is a physical reality. CCI subs resulted in about a 2ft group, that was the worst of what I tried. SK pistol match brought it down to about 6 inch group at 50m, which was better than I was expecting.
