Howa M1500 .223 24" fluted varmint in an XLR Element chassis, gunbloke 1.5lb trigger spring in the standard HACT trigger, Hawke 10-50x60 Sidewinder optic.

Nothing exotic, but she generates wood for me.

They go alright mate, but are nothing on a Sako…3 time’s the price though…As they say good bang for the buck…

Try closer to 10 times the price. I picked up a Howa Barreled action for about $400 the Sako 85 is over $3k now close to 4.

Also dropped my spare .308 varmint barreled action into the 6.5’s previous home, the KRG bravo.

Running a Vortex Venom 5-25x56 FFP. Highly recommend these scopes , especially now while they remain on special at a few places.

Very happy with these two budget friendly long range rigs.

The Vortex Copperhead is meant to be a good 22 scope too…

Wow…thought he would have spawned a couple by now…just sayin…

TS2 Orange?

Shadow 2 Orange. Turns out, currently at least , the TS2 is excluded from a lot of comps being single action only. Pretty spendy for a first pistol but may as well start with a decent rig.

I have no doubt at a club level no one would care about a TS but I wanted a comp gun that was versatile.

I have no idea how far I’ll go in competition level, I do know there is interclub and interstate comps and they are far more stringent on classes.

The shadow 2 qualifies for most if not all 9mm comps.
The TS2 is pretty much IPSC only
