Is the shooters Union membership enough club to get my R-licence in NSW?

Short version is yes, I believe it is, but will check with NSW state co-ordinator and confirm :slight_smile:

Just heard back from the NSW president - it’s a bit complicated because NSW have weird rules, but the short version is SU NSW isn’t a reason on its own (yet!) but the SUNS shooting club, which SU NSW operates, is.

Membership to SUNS shooting club is an additional cost on top of base SU membership, but does give you a Genuine Reason for gun ownership as well as getting/having an R-Licence :slight_smile:
