Reloading Porn Pic's

Heres some sexy lookin’ rounds for you filthy animals  300 and 500 grain projies, the 500’s are thanks to my sugar daddy @Brett

I was thinking a much lighter load. Just that sort of shape to get the devastation that is shown but in a much more gun and person friendly size.

The problem with most hollow point slugs is that they will be flat base and really need a rifled barrel to stabilize them.
I’m not sure about a hollow base hollow point mold but they would be cool.
On the other hand the hollow base slugs still open up like a hollow point pill but the do it in reverse, you can end up with a 20 cent size chunk of lead if they hit bone (or van), I’ll take some pics of some recovered slugs later.

I really dont thing there is any point (no pun intended) to hollow points. Any way way 1 oz of lead hits its gunna hurt.

Dramatic effect like the movies or in this case you tube  when shooting milk bottles.

!
Love a sexy lay out’
!
For fine tuning the powder in the scales (when i do a small batch and its not setting the thrower up) I use this cool grandma spoon and the little yellow one that came in the boys sea monkey kit many many moons ago, A trickler would be better but in the mean time these work well for me.

And 10 rounds to get the .243 on paper since I mounted the scope

My three slugs

Before.

And after. For reference thats a 20c piece in the middle.

This works good as a trickler. A variation on @juststarting Idea.

here’s a couple of well looked after press’s
The little one should clean up ok and the other I’ll see what spares I can salvage from it.

Disgusting! Shame on you.

I knew we should have brought him some CRC for his birthday.

They looked like that when I got them

Did u dig them out of the local creek? Lol

Close enough, they came out of a shack that hasn’t had a roof in 20 years.
But they were free so im not complaining.

Here’s some shiny stuff to take your mind off it.

Just cast another couple of hundred slugs.

And a close up comparison showing the size difference between the two.

Mmmm we like shiny things

Ok a few posts ago I said I was thinking of upgrading my press. I had the Lee Challenger Breech lock press and (ITS MY BIRTHDAY SOON hint for presents ) and I couldn’t wait there was an Ebay special and only 1 left in stock so I bought the Lee Classic Cast Breech lock. The press is defiantly a lot heavier but only slightly bigger maybe 1.5 cm bigger in the O open space. The bolt down base again was only a bit bigger nothing massive. The ram yes the diameter of that is much bigger an I dare say being made from cast steel rather than alloy it is stronger. I didnt think the Challenger suffered from any strength issue thou. I was expecting more leverage to make any larger resizing easier. the handles nearly exactly the same length. The handle does have more position options again not a big issue.

I thought I may have got a bit of looseness in my old press after having a few stuck cases and putting a bit of pressure on the threads which with a quick release are only partly cut and again alloy. The new press didn’t seem to be much tighter in this regard in fact I am going to screw the dies in a bit past the little lock retaining pin. So overall I was a little underwhelmed. I will take some photos and post them up and maybe either move this post or put in in the gear reviews section. Overall I am more and more convinced a press is a press no matter the brand to a large degree.

Am I missing something or did you write an erotic novel for women, @sungazer? Pics or it didn’t happen
