True. Iāve got to admit that setup did make me think hmm yeah i could do that, didnāt know it was around 12k though lol.

Once you get exposed to progressive presses (Dillon 650, 750, Mk7) you get spoiled AF. Mainly because you accumulate toolheads setup for a cartridge, so you just plug it in more or less and go. The only part you got to do is verify weight from the thrower every time you prep for a session. Takes 10 minutes +/-. Make sure the powder settles, etc. So, if you invest that time, screw you - I am going all out. 2k I guess is so he doesnāt have to clean the hopper. 500gm is about 2000 rounds, maybe 2200. Personally, I go in increments of 500 (smallest container I have for storage).

It looks like the universe has conspired against me and I canāt get the ammo I want so I might (and itās still a might) just have to take it in the ass and make my ownā¦ BUT, if i do Iām only thinking about one specific calibre and the most basic hillbilly backcountry goatfucker minimalist type setup held together with chicken wire cable ties and duct tape.

Well itās not even exotic or exciting in any way, itās just boring old vanilla 308win, but i want subsonic and for some unknown reason thereās just none, even the importer has something like 80,000 rounds on backorder with no eta. Apparently thereās been none around for a while for some reason.
Ye ok, if you can get rifle primers, rest should be reasonably easy.

Just mucking about with another shits & giggles project which will be suited to have a subs option.
Cheers mate much appreciated, Iāve got a couple of mates who do some reloading & whoāve been stocked up pretty heavy on all the consumables since back before all the powder shortages were happening so I donāt think Iāll have an issue getting any particular stuff even if the shops donāt have it. But the goats on the other hand, well thatās another story.
