QUEENSLAND LICENSED FIREARMS OWNERS – THIS AFFECTS YOU
We have noticed in the past few weeks an increasing number of members having licenses suspended, revoked or rejected due to matters from long ago which Weapons Licensing are saying suddenly makes those people not a “fit and proper person” to hold a firearm licences.
We’ve seen more of this happening in the past few weeks than the past five years – it is deeply concerning and we are working hard (even in the lead up to Christmas) to find out what is going on.
If you are a member receive and receive communication from Weapons Licensing regarding your status as a “fit and proper person” and/or suspending, rejecting or revoking your licence (or PTA etc) for that reason then please IMMEDIATELY send ALL correspondence and documentation related to the issue to us at [email protected]
