It’s new, it’s awesome, it’s a lot better than… Blah, blah, blah… Ammo claim, not the channel. My guess is that whomever made it hedged their bets on being selected for US military ammo contracts and when 6.8 was chosen this surplus needed to be dumped out to recover some costs.
One of the issues I believe, was overheating, the polymer doesn’t absorb any heat and cases being ejected mitigated some heat build up. Also issues with soft and melting polymer at heat extremes. I’m assuming they’ve sorted the soft and melting issue.
