Just something i came across seems really odd to me
They are just moving to Texas. Filing for charitable status, citing the New York government being no good etc…
With nearly 5 million members and revenues north of US$200 Million, I highly doubt this move is purely financially motivated.
Yeah, they hate New York. Mostly though, they hate getting investigated by New York attorney general Letitia James. Filing for bankruptcy I believe puts a stop to further ongoing litigation after they leave to head for friendlier territory in Texas. They say its closer to six gorillion members now but they certainly dont see eye to eye.
