The old man was feeling generous for my birthday the other week. Got me this.
Just need to build a small bench to mount it on. Also going to get myself an x-y table and vice, try my hand at milling some timber. Drill presses are ok for soft material milling, like wood or plastic . I wouldn’t bother with anything harder like aluminium. The bearings in drill presses aren’t really built for any serious side loads.
I love tools and machinery, looking forward to having a go.
