Based on popularity maybe? Keeps people engaged throughout the event, rather than patches of the event. If I can keep you there longer, maybe you will buy something extra… Maybe?
Question for anyone who has bid online before.
Can I enter bids before the item comes up for auction or do I need to be online when the item comes up? I will have internet that morning but will be out on a farm that afternoon without decent internet.
Most of them you can enter your maximum bid before the item goes to auction. They will then bid in increments until they reach your max then you are out.

That’s what I thought but they aren’t accepting bids yet. Maybe they just start accepting them a week out or something.

If you have a look at the catalogue on pages 71 and 72 gives you all of their conditions for bidding and page 73 has their absentee bidding form. Just fill that out and email it to them.
Not sure if it’s up yet, but this is where the bidding was last time.
