Another positive outcome for Shooters Union, with one of our Queensland members having a licence renewal rejected based on charges (which were dropped) overturned after our solicitor got involved and made representations on their behalf to WLB regarding the issue.
The situation has now been resolved and the member’s licence renewed - an excellent result.
This outcome - and the other wins we have had this year - have been made possible by the generous donations being made to our Legal Defence Fund.
We currently have more than a dozen matters (and counting!) being addressed with assistance from the Fund, and will keep you updated on their outcomes as we get more information.
