I would say the fact he is moving here he won’t know a land holder so club shooting will be the only way for him to get a licence. This means finding a club that hasn’t been shut down and is still taking members. Then after roughly 6 months he could get firearms related to the discipline’s he is shooting. To a maximum of 10.
If he already has firearms, better off leaving them interstate until he’s here and realises the fuckery.
