looking at gun sites as we do,ive noticed this. sunbury are way over imo asking prices lately. and now header trade in welcolme. new policy?. like a lot of other sites now who want $125 to $150 in/out transfer fees.so if you are prepaired to pay asking and thinking get rid of something you want gone. its win win for them.even with dickering they win. ive noticed a lot of dealers have upted their in/out fees. take it or leave it attitude.ask before you buy/sell i suggest.look for fair dealer transfer fee.they are killing their own industry imo.
Sunbury have always had some stupid prices.
Yeah, they’ve been up there always.
I’d like to know who thinks “Yeah, $2000 is a fair price for a Colt M1903”. I know there’s plenty of cashed up shooters out there, but the guys with collector’s licence (who are largely the only ones who can buy these sorts of guns) know what they’re worth and that it isn’t $2000.
I got a good deal on a new gun there several years ago but the service was shithouse.
Yeah $695 for that 297-230 Martini is double dipping, and the barrel is rooted! $300 gun tops…Especially when you consider the brass and reload stuff around.
I’ve noticed that most obsolete calibre stuff like that cadet have a “you don’t need to register it” tax
You can get a shooting 303 for half the price of a deactivated wall hanger.
What is a fair price for one?
What’s the barrel length, is it eligible for club shooting?
They look really cool and I’d love one
About $800-$1000 (assuming good condition), and the barrels are far too short for club use - either 4in or 3.75in depending on the version. I’ve never seen any with extended barrels to make them club legal.
this one you put is same as this one except year, finding 38 rimless ammo ? these are not what you want. your after the 32acp i believe
No way. Those 38s with the long barrels look gangster AF! I’d love one of those.
not cheap though
Nope, they sure aren’t
There’s different guns with similar names. The Colt M1903 Pocket Hammer is a different (and much rarer) gun; the term “Colt M1903” usually refers to the pocket hammerless (the smaller gun).
Lol, you yanky fools, capitalist pigs. Get a Soviet Colt 1903 and be done with it
Or an M1917 Eddystone 3006!!
That’s a big handgun lol
Haha oops…
