No I like a redish wood with a good dark grain running through it. I would prefer a furniture oil type finish rather than a hard epoxy resin. I dont really like the tiger band or the really marbled wood like what is found in really expensive shotguns. Oh and I am talking the Butt of the stock. Get your mind out of the gutter @juststarting

I’ve noticed there is a load of different 303-something cartridges in Australia.
Is there a a particular reason why? Just using up the surplus equipment?

Unavailability of certain calibres in Australia or cost prohibitive, back in the day, I think. So people made them from then cheap milsurps.

I’ve heard a few different names for it, but yeah I think so.
Now I already have 2 of these but the add is not lying that one in that condition is rare as hens teeth.
Go on, make it 3… or sell one and get that one, you know that you need it.

Thats a very interesting looking stock. Certainly a well crafted one. I pass by there regularly I will stop in and check it out. Looks nice but not on my Santa wish list.
