OSS ,MI6,KGB assassin’s gat

Neither an answer, guess or a question.

I am enforcing the rules fellas

Yes it is.

Bossy…

9 mm deer gun, designed by the CIA for sneaky provision to the south Vietnamese. Single shot, had to be dismantled to load each round. It was intended to be provided with diagramatic instructions, but the instructions are almost as kooky as the hand gun itself

Correct.

Whilst we are on whackadoodle ideas…

Let’s see… Proportionally small magazines. Getting SMG vibe from that, rather than machine gun. Handle thingies is either a vehicle/turret or aircraft.

Is it aircraft mounted?

Not that I am aware of

Was it was originally aircraft mounted, but after 1916 then issued to Italian ground troops also?

There’s one school of though that says so.Twin grips and funny mount ( the large circular thing) along with a very fast rate of fire.
Is this a pre or post 1916 model? Is it a factory version or a one off by some armorer?
Or is it an Austrian copy of the Italian original?

@bentaz and @wombat are onto it. Sorry @juststarting, I didnt realise it was originally designed to be aircraft mounted but apparently it was, even though it wasn’t effective in that role. It was copied by the Austrian’s later. It certainly would have put some lead in the air

Barossa?

No, not that

@Bent_arrow is it a Villar Perosa M1915?

I’m gunna go ahead and claim the win here.

Anyone have an issue with that?

Looks Swedish, they have that look about them, is it Swedish?

Looks a bit french, does it have a tubular magazine?

Is it something that was converted from black powder?
