Game: What's that gun?

Is it one of those 9mm experimental rifles where they inserted the 9mm part into it for close quarters to save ammunition the actual rifle was of another caliber Geez! I just can’t remember the name

Nope, this is a straight up .303

Some version of the Ross Rifle

Yes but which one?

Ross Mk2***** ? MKII ***** ?

That’s the one mate

I think this one may take a while.

Is it complete? Seems to be missing furniture and a mag.
If complete then I’m guessing some sort of oss/MI6/KGB contraption for covert stuff. Looks like it folds up or can be field assembled.

Its missing a magazine but not anything else. Had two capacity stick mags and a drum to choose from.

In use- image

Looks like a stripped to bare bones Thompson machine gun.

Its not a Thompson, but it is a Machine Gun.

This one may be too hard. After posting the pictures I tried to find some on the internet, without any joy, and I know all its details.
Some hints-
American.
Full Auto.
.22 LR.
1960’s early 70’s.
Photos are of pages of a Paladin Press book.

It’s not related to the T-62 is it? Designed to repel Soviet paratroopers and sold on the civilian market in the 60s. They look similar and not are 22lr submachine guns.

No nothing to do with them.

Everyone given up?

I hate to give up but it’s got me well n truly stuffed!

Big hint - https://gunsmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/G0768.pdf
Its featured in this magazine.

sorry, I am too upset now to look, I am just looking at the guns for sale in that mag and their corresponding prices. Even with inflation factored in (which I did) - I am still sitting here sobbing.

What a great mag to read. They really go into some detail. I have not read much of it yet but skimming and looking at the remarks for the time period is great. Some of the info priceless there is question on how to blue a gun in a deep blue glossy finish a mixture and procedure is described.

Looking forward to reading the whole mag and hopefully can find a few more to have a look at as well.
